Viper
The Dodge Viper is the
fastest and most powerful automobile that
Chrysler has ever put into the market.
The car is an all-American fantasy characterized
as much by its unique styling and spectacular
performance, as it is by its direct race
car feel. The Viper SRT10 has always been
a brute-force machine designed for an
aim and shoot driving style on a track.
This year the Dodge Viper SRT10 convertible
is joined by the all-new 2007 Dodge Viper
SRT10 Coupe, which comes in an enticing
blue with stone white stripes. A “Double
Bubble” roof and bold rear styling
with wraparound taillights bring impeccable
style to the new coupe. The performance
of both models remains unmatched and the
cars are loud, quick and brash.

Using a state of the art front-engine, rear-wheel-drive
layout with four-wheel independent suspension,
the Viper SRT10 is powered by a 500-horsepower
8.3-liter V10 engine that delivers an estimated
performance of zero to 60 mph in less than 4
seconds, and 60 mph to zero braking in less
than 100 feet. Their 2-seat cabin is furnished
with an impressive array of interior materials.
The clutch may seem a bit heavy but that is
part of the Viper’s charm. The noise and
power of the V10 engine is striking and is meant
to give exciting performance and explosive acceleration.
One only has to get into a Viper and take a
spin around the block to get a taste of its
raw power. Viper's muscle car design is fully
justified given that it is directed, primarily,
for the American market. Our secret desire is
to import one of these babies to India and knock
all the rickshaw drivers out of the way.
