In a mostly cookie-cutter sport bike scene, the Buell
XB12R Firebolt comes as a breath of fresh air. The acceleration
is awesome, the handling is fantastic and the stability is
rock solid. Powered by a state of the art, 1203 cc Buell
Thunderstorm V-Twin engine that gushes with raw
power, the XB12R is totally geared to satisfy
the needs of the most demanding
sports bike rider. Exotic styling, a
perfectly streamlined shape and
a roster of premium components
give the bike an aura of menacing
speed. Once you hop on it, you
can accelerate instantly - go
from zero to 80 mph in a matter
of moments.
But sheer machismo is not the only
thing that the XB12R is all about. It is also about
riding comfortably. The seats are softer and the
advanced shock absorbers are capable of shielding riders from many
vagaries of long road trips. The Pirelli Diablo T tires improve stability
and grip. Buell has lowered the passenger pegs by about two inches,
so the bike now offers decent legroom for your pillion rider. One thing
is for sure, your girlfriend is going to love being your back-seat mate.
While the XB12R features a Graphite Gray frame, it is available in two
color themes - Midnight Black and Artic White. |
